White OG Marijuana Strain
It makes sense that members of the same species have offspring of their own kind. That’s the way it is with all plants, cannabis included. That is to say when farmers tend to a certain strain, only that strain will flourish. Is it reasonable to assume that White OG will continue along these lines? On second thought, maybe not.
The strain, created by Karma Genetics, has excelled ever since it was first made available. Several accolades, including 2 Cannabis Cups in 2010 and 2014, have already been bestowed upon it. Furthermore, it has been linked to two infamous strains, The White & SFV OG, for its genetic makeup.

White OG Weed Origins
The origin of the name is immediately apparent upon learning of its family tree. A strain’s quality can’t be judged solely by its name. What matters is how much of what made the forebears outstanding White OG inherited.
The White’s genetic background and an initial breeder are both unknown. However, it gets its moniker because the buds are covered in white trichomes. If its good aesthetics aren’t enough to convince you, perhaps the truth that it contains 29% THC would.
To round out their lineup, Karma Genetics went with SFV OG. Cannabis lovers all around the world should be well-acquainted with the strain known as OG Kush. After all, this is arguably the most well-known cannabis crossbreed ever created. The breeder took one of its phenotypes, SFV OG, and crossed it with another, The White, to create a strain that has won multiple awards for its overall quality.
Growers of this variety should be aware of the fact that there are now two distinct phenotypes. One is more like The White, and the other is more like SFV OG.
White OG Cannabis Effects
White OG is more forgiving than other strains before fully kicking in. To have a good time and unwind is usually what is meant by this term. This isn’t your average strain, either. It shares its parent’s 24% to 28% THC content. People may call it crazy, but using it too much is actual madness.
At first, the high from this strain is really uplifting. A few seconds later, it hits you like a ton of bricks with a powerful head high that usually has you stoned. White OG has the opposite effect of most Sativas, which is a clouding of the mind, making it difficult to focus.
Users experience great exhilaration in the mind, followed by a warming sensation that gradually spreads throughout the body. It has a rapid onset and can quickly become debilitating. It’s no surprise that this numbing effect has a reputation for lulling users into a state of deep relaxation and, eventually, sleep.

Smell & Flavour
The aroma of OG Kush fills the room as soon as the bag is opened. The air is fragrant with a mixture of lemon and earthy sweetness. If you crush the blooms, you’ll release a strong scent with a hint of pine.
When burned, it produces smoke that may be too strong for certain people’s tastes. However, it compensates for its delicious citric and lemony flavor. The woody flavor that lingers in the mouth after exhalation should also be appreciated.

What is White OG strain?
Karma Genetics initially developed the indica White OG strain by mating The White and SFV OG Kush.
