Puede que la Next Generation Seed Company suene a nueva, pero Jason Baker, también conocido como Jay Generation y Romulan Jay, fundó NGSC de forma oficial en 1997. Empezó en Vancouver, Canadá, y en 2008 se trasladó a Europa para disfrutar del ambiente legal más permisivo de Holanda y España. Allí perfeccionó sus métodos de cría para crear genéticas feminizadas y autoflorecientes.
Ahora que Canadá ha reformado sus leyes del cannabis, Next Generation ha vuelto a casa. A lo largo de su carrera, Jason se ha dedicado a mejorar y perfeccionar las mejores genéticas canadienses, especialmente los de la variedad Grapefruit.
